What’s in your suitcase, Lydia Potts?

(As professional migrants, we pack a lot of suitcases. But what’s the one item that you always take with you, wherever you go? That’s the question we ask our lecturers in this series.)

Pt.2 Lydia Potts

A foldable hat from Indonesia. Especially on travels closer to the equator. Lydia dislikes wearing hats, but in more tropical settings one can’t avoid it. Hence, she likes this one as it can easily be folded, stored in a bag and taken out whenever it is needed. It does, however, never match with any clothes one might be wearing.
Lydia Potts is the Erasmus Mundus Master Course European Master in Migration and Intercultural Relations (EMMIR)
